Teaching Practice

We are an approved teaching practice and therefore from time to time support GP registrars, foundation doctors and medical students

GP registrars

GP registrars are qualified doctors who have chosen a career in General Practice. When present in the surgery they are undertaking further training under Dr Sidhu’s supervision prior to taking up a position in the practice of their choice.

Foundation doctors

Postgraduate Medical education in the UK begins with the foundation programme. The new structured training programme bridges the gap between medical school and GP training. They work under the direct supervision of Dr Sidhu

They are required to do a four month placement in order to gain experience in General practice.

Medical Students

We take medical students from university. They work under the direct supervision of Dr Sidhu.

Occasionally there may be a medical student in attendance whilst you have your consultation with your doctor. If you prefer you can request that you have your consultation without the student.
